Easter Weekend - Part One

We had a great time being with family on Easter weekend...my two brothers and their families came from out of town to visit all of us before my parents leave for the mission at the end of the summer. We had a blast playing a LOT with cousins, going to the zoo, hiking (not all of us), celebrating my Dad's retirement, taking BIG family pictures and creating memories we'll never forget.
From South Carolina, my younger brother Nathan and his wife Lindsay with Cambria, Maya and Joseph...

And from Utah, my brother Thayne and his wife Lanae with Jonas, Ian, Jacob and Ethan...
Our favorite tradition for family reunions...tromping on the our Dad's backs. This tradition gets wilder and more painful every year. Not sure if that's because the Dad's are getting older or because the kids are getting bigger. Either way...the pictures say it all.
Blake with Joseph...just a few months younger than him, a hunker, curious and busy. Wow. I have a feeling it was meant to be with these two. Although Blake has done all the tormenting so far.
At the zoo
Blake got lucky and got to sit with Emmalin for a while. She is so sweet and adorable. He is quite in love with her so we have to keep an eye on him around her. I feel bad she has to always be aware where Blake is....but I just love how this sweet little girl isn't afraid to let out a squawk to tell him to lay off or to warn us. You tell'em.
