Twin Day

Anna had twin day at school on Friday...she and her friend Emma picked out their own outfits. They looked so cute!

Happy Engagement

10 years ago today Jay proposed to me out in the desert under the stars. He had the song I gave him for Valentine's Day playing in the background. I couldn't have been happier than that moment he asked me. And I know...don't laugh...we look like a couple of kids in this picture. Such a fun day to remember.

Arabian Horse Show

Last Saturday we went to the Arabian Horse Show in Scottsdale...thanks to my Dad who got my sister and I some free tickets from his work. The kids had so much fun...what I loved about it was that there were horses everywhere and we could actually see them up close. Westworld is huge and there are arenas and stables everywhere. It was a nice relaxing Saturday spent with each other and with Britney & Kevin and their kids. Truthfully, I have to say the kids got the most excited and riled up when they saw horse poop everywhere we walked. I got a kick out of hearing them flip out. Here are the good times we shared with our cousins...

Lets take a glimspe into Blake's world

[#1 place he loves to be - my bathroom cupboard. I have to put a stool in front of this one that has a broken child lock. He never fails to make a beeline for it. He absolutely loves my blowdryer and hairbrushes.]

[I love his face whenever he walks towards me. Makes me happy.]

[He loves the huge teddy bear he got from Grandma for his birthday. He loves to bury his head into it, bite it, cuddle and wrestle with it. Great therapy toy for him.]

[This is one of many favorite toys we see him hauling around...he attaches himself to something and doesn't let go for the rest of the day.]

[Innocent face? No...just wait and see what happens...]

[Manuevering stuff out of a child-locked kitchen cupboard...hey he's good at what he does.]

[But man he could get away with anything with a smile like that]

[ah-ha! Gotcha rooting around in the trash can!]

[So at this point, I go do the dishes and he stays in the kitchen, pretty silent though. I had no idea what was going on....until I found him just around the island from me...and there he is...]

[Frosting. Pink frosting. And lots of it. And from, you guessed it, the trash can. Okay I left it in there without thinking so I couldn't really get mad or discipline him. So instead I just took pictures.]
