Happy 3rd Birthday Kate! (a week late)

Some thoughts about this bubbly little lady...
1. Still bounces, skips and wiggles her body EVERYwhere she goes. I really hope she doesn't grow out of that soon.

2. Has the funnest personality, but definitely two extremes...crazy happy or meltdown madness. I like that first one much better.

3. Loving the little conversations we have with her.

4. Since she has been potty trained (8 months ago), we've had a hard time getting her to go #2 IN the toilet...she's kinda of scared of it and calls it a "rock" (probably because thats what it feels like sitting there in her panties).

5. Very best buds with David now that Anna is in school all day. They do everything together and she loves when his friends come over. The other day David had a friend over and I heard a lot of ruckus going on in the toy room. They all had their shirts off (including Kate) and were on the floor wrestling.

6. Always wearing a necklace, carrying a purse and wanting to have her nails painted.

7. LOVES to play with her tiny toys (puppies, kittens, polly pockets, ponyville, etc).

8. Gets really shy in public if any sort of attention is directed towards her...but is my craziest, loudest one at home...how does that work?

9. Wacky but true...she eats ranch, BBQ sauce, ketchup, salsa (no matter how spicy) or any dip by the spoonful. She also is following in the footsteps of Anna and loves anything sour or spicy, tomatoes, pickles, olives and all her vegetables. But still...straight BBQ sauce by the spoonful? Gross.

10. And I can't forget to share one of her many made up songs that she sings over and over at home or while we walk through the grocery store. I like to call this one Blakey's Song (to the tune of Jingle Bells then The Wheels On the Bus) "Blake-ee boy, Blake-ee boy, All through the Blake." And that's pretty much it...over and over. Sometimes she adds in some other words but that's what she loves to serenade to him.

We love you Kate-Kate (what we call her around here) and your amazing and cheerful personality. It's always a party when you're around!
